Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, MIS reports, and variance analysis.
  
• Ensure optimal capital allocation, working capital management, and cash flow planning.
  

Accounting & Compliance

• Lead all finance, accounting, and statutory audit activities.
  
• Ensure compliance with

  Indian accounting standards, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, FEMA, and other regulatory requirements

  .
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and government agencies.
  

Treasury & Fund Management

• Manage

  banking relationships

  , fundraising, debt management, and investor relations.
• Ensure cost-effective financing solutions for projects and operations.
  
• Optimize treasury operations, credit control, and investment strategies.
  

Business & Project Finance

• Partner with business heads to evaluate project feasibility, pricing, profitability, and risk management.
  
• Support

  large-scale EPC, consultancy, and turnkey project contracts

  with proper financial controls.
• Oversee tendering, commercial negotiations, and financial closure of projects.
  

Leadership & Governance

• Act as a key member of the

  Board/Executive Committee

  to provide financial insights and decision support.
• Implement

  internal financial controls, ERP/financial systems, and risk management frameworks

  .
• Build and mentor the finance team for high performance and compliance.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)

  from a reputed institute.
• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least

  5 years as CFO/Head of Finance

  in mid to large-scale companies (preferably EPC, Infrastructure, Environmental Engineering, or Manufacturing).
• Strong exposure to

  project finance, working capital management, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate governance

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho, etc.), MIS, and financial modeling

  .
