CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Business Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute

    annual operating plans

    and long-term growth roadmap
  • Balance

    growth, profitability, and asset quality

  • Drive expansion across branches, products, and partnerships
  • Reduce promoter dependency by building a

    process-led organization

2. Gold Loan & Existing Business Oversight

  • Strengthen Gold Loan portfolio with

    consistent growth and low NPAs

  • Improve branch productivity and customer acquisition efficiency
  • Optimize pricing, LTV, tenure, and yield without compromising risk
  • Ensure smooth BAU operations across all locations

3. Loan Against Property (LAP) – Strategic Ownership

  • Conceptualize, launch, and scale

    LAP as a core vertical

  • Finalize LAP

    credit policy, LTV norms, pricing, tenure, and risk framework

  • Build sales channels: internal team, DSAs, builder & professional tie-ups
  • Establish legal, valuation, technical, and documentation SOPs
  • Achieve

    portfolio quality, TAT discipline, and breakeven timelines

4. Financial & P&L Management

  • Full ownership of

    group P&L

  • Manage cost-to-income, margins, ROA, ROE
  • Capital allocation across products and branches
  • Liquidity, ALM, refinancing, and lender relationship management
  • Prepare organization for

    fund raise, co-lending, or structured finance

5. Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure 100% compliance with

    RBI NBFC regulations

  • Oversee audit, compliance, credit risk, and operational risk
  • Maintain zero tolerance for regulatory lapses
  • Strengthen internal controls and early warning systems

6. People, Culture & Leadership

  • Build and mentor

    second-line leadership

    (BM, Area Head, Credit, LAP Head)
  • Implement

    KRA/KPI-driven performance culture

  • Improve accountability, ownership, and retention
  • Drive leadership discipline across levels

7. Systems, Process & Scalability

  • Institutionalize SOPs, MIS, dashboards, and review rhythms
  • Drive adoption of LOS, CRM, HRMS, and automation tools
  • Ensure scalability without loss of control
  • Transition JFL from

    founder-driven to system-driven

Preferred candidate profile

  • 12–20 years in

    NBFC / Banking / Secured Lending

  • Proven experience in

    Gold Loan and/or LAP

  • Prior

    P&L ownership

  • Strong understanding of

    RBI regulations

  • Builder mindset with Tier-2 / Tier-3 market exposure
  • Comfortable with high accountability and board scrutiny
