Quality Check Process Inspect raw materials such as gemstones, metals, and other components for quality compliance. Identify and reject defective or substandard materials before they enter the production cycle. Conduct quality checks at every stage of the production process—casting, filing, setting, polishing, and finishing. Inspect final jewelry pieces for common defects (e.g., scratches, loose stones, poor finishing). Ensure all products meet customer-specific requirements and internal quality benchmarks. Approve or reject finished goods based on inspection outcomes. 2. Measurement and Testing Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to check dimensions and alignments. Conduct durability tests, stone security checks, and assess plating quality. Record and analyze test results for compliance and consistency. 3. Documentation and Reporting Maintain thorough records of inspection results, including accepted and rejected items with reasons. Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports to the management team. 4. Cross-Departmental Coordination Collaborate with production, repair, and logistics teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns. Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure quality alignment across departments. 5. Handling Defective Items Segregate defective pieces and assess corrective actions needed.
