Chief Engineer

You will play a key role in enhancing guest satisfaction, leading the maintenance team, and managing departmental budgets effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure smooth operation of the property maintenance department to maintain all areas at the highest levels. - Improve guest satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries and enhancing guest comfort. - Develop and implement plans to achieve property maintenance initiatives and hotel targets. - Lead and manage the maintenance team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and performance. - Prepare and manage the departmental budget, control costs and inventory, and ensure productivity levels are met. - Build effective relationships with key stakeholders. - Establish an effective planned preventative maintenance program to address maintenance and conservation matters. - Ensure compliance with legislation and best practices for internal and external audits. Requirements: - Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar position in reputed 5-star hotel brands. - Proven experience in property maintenance with strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style. - Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry. - Ability to provide creative solutions, advice, and recommendations. - Personal integrity and ability to excel in an environment that demands excellence. - Proficiency in using IT systems on various platforms. - Strong communication skills.
