Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Chemical Engineer to join our team at our South India STP sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical analysis, optimizing treatment processes, troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining accurate records to ensure efficient plant operation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Chemical Analysis:
• Perform chemical testing of incoming wastewater and treated effluent to monitor pollutant levels and water quality. Conduct tests such as pH, COD, BOD, TSS, Fecal Coliform, and additional tests like TN, TKN, TP as required.
• Process Optimization:

Analyze data from chemical tests and monitor parameters such as SVI, MLSS, and MLVSS to identify inefficiencies. Recommend and implement improvements for optimized plant performance.

• Troubleshooting:

Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to diagnose issues during treatment operations and take corrective actions to ensure continuous, efficient operation.Maintain accurate records of lab test results, sludge generation/disposal, chemical usage, calibration reports, equipment servicing logs, and inspection checklists.Prepare duty rosters for plant operators and helpers. Ensure timely reporting and adherence to prescribed tea and lunch break schedules.Requirements & Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Chemistry
• OR B.Tech/Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• Experience:
• 0-1 years of relevant experience in wastewater treatment or chemical analysis preferred (Freshers with strong academic knowledge may also apply)
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of wastewater chemistry and lab procedures
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and coordination skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
