About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Chartered Accountant to support our client, a leading Oil & Gas sector subsidiary, at their Barmer location. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, MIS, and on-ground financial controls. Candidates must be willing to work at the client site in Barmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage annual budgeting, revisions, and rolling forecasts.
• Prepare and analyse monthly MIS reports, financial dashboards, and variance analysis.
• Support cost control, project expenditure monitoring, and capex/opex tracking.
• Coordinate with operations teams to gather financial inputs and validate assumptions.
• Assist in financial modelling for projects, drilling operations, and production planning.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, schedules, and internal reporting.
• Support statutory, internal, and management audits conducted at the site.
• Review procurement proposals, price comparisons, and financial justification notes.
• Implement strong internal financial controls and compliance with company policies.
• Liaise with the corporate finance team to align site-level data with group reporting formats.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 0–4 years of post-qualification experience (Oil & Gas or EPC experience preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and MIS
• Good analytical and financial modelling skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage but not a strict requirement
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with technical/operations teams
• Willingness to relocate/live on site at Barmer
