Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong exposure to Statutory Audit and Internal Audit. The role involves leading audit engagements, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.

Responsibilities

Statutory Audit

• Lead statutory audits for mid-sized and large clients.
• Prepare and review audit plans and working papers.
• Finalize financial statements, audit reports, CARO reporting, and disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, and Standards on Auditing (SA).
• Review complex accounting areas such as provisioning, revenue recognition, impairment, and tax adjustments.
• Coordinate with client CFOs, finance teams, and management.

Internal Audit

• Conduct and supervise risk-based internal audits.
• Develop audit methodology, sampling frameworks, and risk matrices.
• Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and inefficiencies.
• Provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
• Prepare internal audit reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Minimum 8+ years Post Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Mandatory experience in CA Firms only.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, SAs, and audit processes.
• Ability to manage teams and multiple client engagements.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.

Salary

₹20,00,000 – ₹25,00,000 per annum

Work Environment

• Client-facing role
• May require local travel within Chennai
