Channel Sales Executive

Job Title : Channel Sales Executive / Channel Sales Manager Industry : Battery / Energy Storage Solutions Location : Zirakpur, Punjab Experience : 3 to 5 years Reports to : Regional Sales Manager / Head – Channel Sales Job Summary : We are seeking a results-driven Channel Sales professional to manage and expand our distributor and dealer network in the battery industry. The role involves driving sales growth, ensuring proper product placement, building strong relationships with channel partners, and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Key Responsibilities : Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners for battery products (e.g., inverter batteries, automotive batteries, industrial batteries). Achieve sales targets and ensure proper market coverage through channel expansion. Train channel partners on product features, USPs, and schemes to enhance sell-out capabilities. Monitor partner performance and take corrective actions to improve channel efficiency. Conduct regular market visits, promotional activities, and local campaigns to support channel growth. Ensure proper branding, display, and visibility at partner outlets. Coordinate with logistics, marketing, and after-sales teams for seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Gather market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and new launches. Prepare and present periodic sales reports and forecasts. Key Requirements : 3–5 years of channel sales experience in the battery, automotive, electrical, or similar industry. Proven track record in dealer/distributor management and achieving sales targets. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Sound knowledge of local geography and market dynamics.
