Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Field Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various electronic security and IT systems across client locations. The role demands expertise in CCTV, networking, optical fibre cabling, access control, and intrusion detection systems. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (cameras, DVRs/NVRs, cabling, etc.). Troubleshoot and repair CCTV hardware and software issues. Conduct site surveys for new CCTV installations. Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance. Integrate CCTV systems with other security or IT infrastructure. Document all installations, maintenance, and repairs. Provide technical support and training to users. Perform on-site installation and commissioning of: CCTV Surveillance Systems (IP & Analog) Networking equipment (routers, switches, POE devices) Optical Fibre termination and testing Access control systems (biometric, RFID-based) Intrusion detection and alarm systems Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments Lay, crimp, terminate and test copper and fibre optic cables Configure and maintain IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and video management software Diagnose and resolve technical issues in coordination with the central support team Create and maintain installation reports, service logs, and documentation Ensure customer satisfaction with post-installation support Adhere to safety and quality protocols while working at client sites Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field. Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, IP cameras, and network video recording. Proficiency in cabling (Cat5e/6, fiber optic), crimping, and termination. Familiarity with various CCTV software and VMS platforms. Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Familiar with tools such as OTDR, splicing machines, multimeters, etc. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, IP addressing, and fibre cabling Good communication and customer service skills. Proven experience as a CCTV Engineer or similar role. Salary & Benefits: · Government Holidays provided. · Working Schedule: 6 days a week. · Office Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
