CCTV and Access Control Installation Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV & Access Control Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, access control devices, biometric systems, and related security equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, and access control systems.
• Perform wiring, cabling, and termination for security equipment.
• Diagnose and repair system faults, malfunctions, or breakdowns.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and system health checks.
• Integrate access control systems with biometric readers, RFID, EM locks, and sensors.
• Ensure proper alignment, focus, and setup of CCTV cameras.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Prepare service reports, documentation, and maintain inventory of tools/equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security standards during installation.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and project teams for timely execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
• Proven experience in CCTV & Access Control installation and support.
• Knowledge of networking (IP cameras, LAN/WAN, switches, routers).
• Familiarity with biometric attendance systems and door access hardware.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in CCTV/Access Control systems (Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Honeywell, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of fire alarm, PA system, and intrusion detection systems.
• Valid driving license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
