CCTV Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CCTV Engineer to install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems and related security equipment at client locations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with various CCTV technologies, be able to work independently, and ensure all installations meet client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (IP & Analog) at customer sites.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and performance.
• Lay and terminate network cables (Cat5e, Cat6) and power cables for CCTV.
• Ensure all installations are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Provide client training on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Document installations, configurations, and service activities.
• Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and support teams.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies on job sites.

Qualifications and Skills:

• ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras, and remote viewing systems.
• Familiarity with network concepts (IP addressing, port forwarding).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel to client locations and work flexible hours.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with access control, video door phones (VDP), intercoms.
• Knowledge of software-based CCTV monitoring platforms.
• Certification in security systems or networking (e.g., CCNA) is a plus.

Work Conditions:

• Field work at multiple client locations.
• May involve working at heights and using ladders or lifts.
• Use of hand tools, testing equipment, and safety gear as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,128.77 - ₹25,171.93 per month
