CCaSS- Staff

Experience: 0 to 4 years

Position Summary

Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team is focused on providing advisory services on Climate change mitigation and decarbonization, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety), Non-financial reporting and customization and implementation of ESG digital tools like Enablon. The team is also involved in providing Assurance on Non-financial disclosures.As a Staff, you'll be expected to closely work with the GDS CCaSS team and the MENA EY teams. You will be working closely with the team on developing processes and controls and undertake limited / reasonable assurance on the non-financial disclosure / reporting of global EY clientsWhile the staff will be based out of our Kochi/Trivandrum office, the individual will be required to travel to other countries (short term) for executing the client engagements.

Primary Responsibilities

As a staff, you will be required to

Help perform materiality assessments under the supervision of senior consultants.
Help define and collect data for ESG metrics and KPIs.
Contribute to the development and refinement of ESG assessment frameworks.
Support the alignment of reporting practices with global standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CDP.
Compile data and research findings to support senior consultants in providing recommendations.
Ensure data integrity and assist in the maintenance of digital systems like Enablon.
Collaborate with the team to enhance the use of technology in ESG initiatives.

Qualifications, Skills, And Experience

BE/B-Tech/MBA/ or specific graduate in Environmental sciences, Sustainability and other related discipline
0 to 4 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related field (including internships).
Basic understanding of ESG risks, sustainability reporting standards, and frameworks.
Certifications in climate change, environment, and sustainability related areas from GRI, SASB, GARP, etc will be an advantage
Strong and demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills
Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the ESG and sustainability field.
