Catering Sales Manager

Catering Sales Manager is responsible for actively selling and managing all aspects of the hotel's catered events, meetings, and social functions (e.g., weddings, galas, corporate banquets). This role focuses on driving revenue through effective prospecting, negotiation, coordination, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development:

   Proactively

   solicit and secure new catering business

   through cold calling, networking, client visits, and responding to incoming inquiries and leads for meetings, banquets, and events.

2. Client Management:

   Manage the sales process from initial inquiry to final contract. Conduct site inspections, prepare customized proposals, negotiate pricing, and finalize all

   Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)

3. Coordination & Execution:

   Act as the primary liaison between the client and hotel operations. Coordinate detailed arrangements for events, including menus, seating diagrams, audio-visual needs, and timelines, ensuring seamless communication with the Culinary and F&B Service teams.

4. Financial Goals:

   Meet and exceed assigned

   revenue and profitability targets

   for all catering sales segments. Assist in setting pricing strategies and monitoring departmental costs.

5. Market Analysis:

   Stay current with local market trends, competitive offerings, and pricing, utilizing this knowledge to position the hotel effectively.

6. Administrative:

   Maintain an organized, accurate, and up-to-date client database within the

   CRM system

   (e.g., Delphi), preparing weekly sales reports and pipeline forecasts.
