As a Category Head for Food & Lifestyle, your role will involve leading the category strategy, assortment planning, pricing, and overall P&L for a key business vertical. Your understanding of consumer trends, supplier management, and retail operations across both Food and Lifestyle categories will be crucial for success. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute category strategies in alignment with business objectives and customer needs. - Define the right product mix, pricing, and promotions to drive sales, profitability, and enhance customer experience. - Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and explore new brand partnerships. - Drive revenue and margin growth through effective pricing, sourcing, and marketing strategies. - Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities. - Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and store operations for seamless execution and availability. - Manage and mentor a team of category managers, buyers, and merchandisers to achieve business outcomes. Desired Profile: - 8-15 years of experience in category management, buying, or merchandising in retail, FMCG, or lifestyle sectors. - Exposure to Food and Lifestyle categories such as grocery, gourmet, fashion, or home. - Strong commercial acumen with experience managing large P&Ls. - Proficient in negotiation, analytics, and vendor management. - Experience in both offline and online retail formats will be advantageous. - MBA or equivalent degree is preferred.,
