Position Summary:

The Restaurant Captain is responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences by ensuring attentive service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and handling guest feedback professionally. They play a key role in building guest loyalty, resolving concerns, and overseeing service standards to create memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Relations & Service Excellence:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a personalized dining experience.
• Establish rapport with guests to build loyalty and gather constructive feedback.
• Proactively address guest concerns and resolve complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Ensure guest preferences and special requests are accommodated effectively.
• Assist guests with table reservations, seating arrangements, and menu recommendations.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide timely service that exceeds expectations.
• Communicate with guests using positive and professional language.
• Maintain a pleasant dining atmosphere by ensuring smooth coordination with service staff.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring adherence to presentation and quality standards.
• Train and mentor junior staff to enhance service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, hygiene standards, and health regulations.
• Collaborate with the restaurant manager to improve guest engagement strategies.
