Position Summary: The Restaurant Captain is responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences by ensuring attentive service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and handling guest feedback professionally. They play a key role in building guest loyalty, resolving concerns, and overseeing service standards to create memorable dining experiences. Key Responsibilities: Guest Relations & Service Excellence: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a personalized dining experience. Establish rapport with guests to build loyalty and gather constructive feedback. Proactively address guest concerns and resolve complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Ensure guest preferences and special requests are accommodated effectively. Assist guests with table reservations, seating arrangements, and menu recommendations. Anticipate guest needs and provide timely service that exceeds expectations. Communicate with guests using positive and professional language. Maintain a pleasant dining atmosphere by ensuring smooth coordination with service staff. Operational Responsibilities: Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring adherence to presentation and quality standards. Train and mentor junior staff to enhance service efficiency and guest satisfaction. Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, hygiene standards, and health regulations. Collaborate with the restaurant manager to improve guest engagement strategies. Qualifications & Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in handling guest relations in a hospitality setting. Ability to resolve guest concerns with patience and professionalism. Knowledge of restaurant operations, menu items, and service etiquette. Leadership skills to guide and support junior staff in enhancing guest interactions.
