Captain

Job Summary:

The Captain is responsible for supervising the dining area, ensuring guests receive excellent service, and coordinating with team members to deliver a smooth and efficient dining experience. This role involves taking orders, overseeing service, and handling guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests courteously, ensuring comfort and satisfaction.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of service staff (waiters, runners, bussers).
• Ensure timely and high-quality service is provided to guests.
• Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to maximize sales.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback efficiently, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Conduct pre-service briefings and assign duties to the service team.
• Ensure tables are properly set and cleared according to standards.
• Maintain inventory of service equipment and assist in stock requisitions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food service or hospitality (QSR or casual dining preferred).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
