with at least
3+ years of experience
in investment banking, debt syndication, and capital raising. The role will focus on structuring, syndicating, and executing
debt financing transactions
, while also supporting equity and structured finance mandates depending on business requirements. The candidate will play a critical role in engaging with institutional investors, NBFCs, banks, and family offices to facilitate successful fund-raising transactions.This position requires strong expertise in financial structuring, market intelligence, and investor relationship management, coupled with the ability to manage end-to-end execution of transactions. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in
debt fund raise, debt syndication, and capital market transactions
with excellent financial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Capital Raising & Deal Structuring
- Lead and execute debt fund raise and syndication mandates across sectors.
- Structure and negotiate financing solutions, including term loans, bonds, structured credit, and hybrid instruments.
- Support equity and structured finance transactions in line with business strategy.
- Investor & Market Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, institutional investors, family offices, and capital providers.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of investors and capital market opportunities.
- Track investor appetite, market trends, and regulatory developments to align financing strategies with current market conditions.
- Transaction Execution
- Prepare financial models, investor pitch decks, transaction memos, and deal documentation.
- Drive the entire execution lifecycle including due diligence, negotiations, documentation, and fund disbursement.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, and Business Units to ensure timely and efficient deal closure.
- Strategic Insights & Advisory
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on capital structure optimization.
- Analyze competitor activities, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
- Identify risks in transactions and propose mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison with internal teams and external advisors to facilitate seamless execution.
- Support senior leadership in investor meetings, roadshows, and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements in all transactions.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, debt syndication, or structured finance.
- Proven experience in executing debt fund raise and capital syndication deals.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with investors and lenders.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting debt and capital market transactions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple mandates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualification: MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent preferred
