Position Summary:

The Caf Manager is responsible for leading overall caf operations to deliver outstanding customer experiences, ensure team efficiency, maintain profitability, and uphold brand standards. The role involves managing daily store activities, supervising staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory norms.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily caf operations, ensuring smooth functioning during all shifts.
  • Maintain caf cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance in accordance with brand standards.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs related to food preparation, service, and safety.
  • Conduct daily briefings and allocate shift duties to team members.

People Management

  • Recruit, train, and develop caf staff including Baristas, Shift Supervisors, and support team.
  • Drive employee engagement and ensure high morale and motivation.
  • Manage staff attendance, scheduling, and performance appraisals.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and ensure adherence to HR policies.

Customer Service

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and handle escalated customer concerns promptly.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions to improve satisfaction.

Sales & Profitability

  • Achieve sales targets, control costs, and optimize caf profitability.
  • Plan and execute local marketing initiatives to increase footfall.
  • Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and prepare action plans for growth.

Inventory & Compliance

  • Manage stock levels, order supplies, and minimize wastage.
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, safety, and statutory norms.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to audits, licenses, and equipment maintenance.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer-centric approach with problem-solving mindset.
  • Financial acumen and understanding of P&L management.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in caf or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) operations, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Work Schedule:

  • Rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per caf operational needs.
