Roles & Responsibilities:

Understands and calculates all the loads on the parts/system
Develop 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings for motorcycle structural components, subsystems including frames, subframes, and swingarms.
Apply principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Serviceability (DFS) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to all projects.
Choose appropriate materials based on factors such as strength, weight, cost, and durability.
Basic understanding of the functions of chassis systems, such as suspension and brakes, with a deeper knowledge of calipers, discs, master cylinders, and combi-brake systems.
Perform structural analyses and simulations to validate design performance under various conditions.
Work closely with teams across engineering disciplines, including powertrain, electrical, prototyping, costing, assembly and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of components.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, decisions, and specifications

Technical Competencies:

Proficiency in CAD software (Preferably in Creo however further training will be provided).
Strong understanding of simulation tools for structural and thermal.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as Assembly, Welding, Casting, Forging, and Machining

Behavioral Competencies:

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
