Job Description

As a candidate for this role, you will be expected to have a strong understanding and experience in the sheet metal industry, including Sheet Metal Parts, Sheet Metal Assemblies, Forging, Fastener, and Standard parts. Your background knowledge should cover processes related to manufacturing technologies such as Press, Weld, Proprietary, Forging, Fastener, and Standard parts. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding and experience in Supply Chain management, specifically in procurement and development - Dealing effectively with a variety of suppliers - Applying Zero-based costing, Quote analysis, Negotiation skills, and basic financial knowledge - Demonstrating analytical, problem-solving, technical, and communication skills - Implementing cost reduction through VAVE activities and Yield Improvement - Reading and analyzing Engineering Standards, technical documents, and Drawings - Proficiency in using IT tools like Microsoft Office - Estimating tooling costs from part drawings using the ZBC Approach - Understanding the structure of sheet metal and forging dies, tools, and associated costs in designing and manufacturing Additionally, you may need to travel based on work requirements. Should you choose to pursue this opportunity, your role will involve a mix of technical skills, supply chain management, cost analysis, and supplier management in the sheet metal industry.,
