Your role will involve a deep understanding and practical experience in Supply Chain management, particularly in procurement and development processes. You should be comfortable interacting with a wide range of suppliers and vendors. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be focused on cost management, including Zero-based costing, Quote analysis, Negotiation skills, and basic financial knowledge. You will be expected to drive cost reduction initiatives through VAVE activities and Yield Improvement strategies. Your ability to interpret Engineering Standards, technical documents, and Drawings will be crucial for successful project execution. You will be responsible for various sourcing activities including supplier research, spec review, RFQ/bidding, quote analysis, supplier selection, and bidding pool enhancement. Additionally, you will be involved in parts development, which includes tool development, project milestones management, active participation in generating early phase cost and design optimization ideas, as well as EO/4M management. Price finalization of trim parts, plastic painted parts, and tooling cost settlement will be part of your duties. You will also engage in cost innovation activities such as LTA, localization, VAVE, benchmarking alternative sourcing, productivity improvements, cost audits, and cost workshops. Ensuring regulations and compliance, such as ARAI certifications, BIS QCOs, will be essential. Managing vendor capacity, especially concerning SOP and serial life demand fluctuations, will also be a key aspect of your role. You will support the quality team in implementing countermeasures for supplier parts quality issues. Moreover, handling contracts management, including basic purchasing agreements, leave and licence agreements, timely sign-offs, and renewals, will be crucial. Basic understanding of mechanical utilities. 3. Person with experience in leading a project team will be preferred. 4. Good understanding of basic engineering and its working process so as to impart technical guidance to team members / contractors for completing the job in schedule and with least cost and effort. 5. Understanding of various government regulation and sound knowledge of National Building Code (NBC), Electrical Rules, Electricity act, etc. 6. Drawing preparation in AutoCAD. 7. Having good knowledge of project safety system, safety at project site, electrical safety system. Technical/ Functional: 1. Conceptualization of project evaluation, preparation of specification, project approval, cost estimation, tender, technical evaluation, negotiation, design checking, monitoring, quality check, operation and maintenance of utilities. 2. Project monitoring, understanding of process, designs drawings, understanding of latest technologies and software. 3. Shall be responsible for conceptualization, design, order and effective execution of electro-mechanical utilities for various infrastructure projects of MSIL. Behavioral: 1.
