We are looking for a highly experienced and result-driven Factory Manager to lead operations at our modern Urad Dal milling facility , part of the Maharaja Rice brand legacy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pulse milling operations , deep technical knowledge of dal processing machinery, and a proven ability to lead large teams and manage high-volume production environments. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Operations Management : Oversee all stages of Urad Dal processing from raw material intake to dispatch. Production Planning & Scheduling : Ensure efficient daily, weekly, and monthly production planning aligned with business goals. Quality Control : Maintain stringent product quality as per FSSAI, HACCP, and ISO 22000 standards. Machinery Oversight : Lead maintenance and performance optimization of key equipment (destoners, dehullers, polishers, color sorters, etc.). Team Leadership : Manage, train, and inspire plant supervisors, operators, and labor teams. Cost & Yield Management : Control wastage, reduce costs, and maximize yield from raw materials. Safety & Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to industrial safety norms and environmental regulations. Inventory Coordination : Manage inward and outward logistics of raw materials and finished products in coordination with procurement and sales teams. Candidate Profile Experience : 10+ years in pulse/dal milling; at least 3 years in a senior managerial role. Qualification : Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Food Processing or relevant field. Languages : English and local language proficiency (e.g., Hindi/Tamil). Location Preference : Willing to relocate/stay near the factory premises. Why Join Us? Key Responsibilities: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with 10-12 years of relevant working experience in Large to Medium Mfg. Industry, preferably Chemical, Pharma, Oil & Gas. Knowledge of discrete/process manufacturing with experience in MES, IIOT and for KPI improvement like OEE, OLE, Yield Improvement etc., Knowledge of Edge computing, sensors, gateway devices, protocols, OT networking, cloud (Azure or AWS preferably) Basic knowledge on Software development and API Integration with IOT equipment / Technologies Devising and establishing IT policies and processes to support the Digitization of Organization and IT-OT Integration especially OT data infrastructure like historians etc. Shape platform-led transformation strategies working with multi-disciplinary team of technologists, business architects and experience designers Experience in implementing advanced use cases in IoT and AI on the shop floor in the areas of production, quality, inventory, maintenance, Warehouse, Logistics. Experienced in Industry 4.0 driving towards Industry 5.0 Must ensure appropriate IT infrastructure (viz. hardware, software, applications & products inclusive of SAP, LIMS, Engineering & Design, and other applications) are acquired and deployed Ready for Frequent Travel within Gujrat / India plant locations. Role & responsibilities Critical process monitoring, data analysis & reduction of Batch cycle time (Wherever possible & applicable) Planning and conducting PDL (process development lab) experiments for process optimization to improve yield and quality, whenever required. Planning and conducting PDL (process development lab) experiments for recycling and recovery improvement of solvents, wherever required. Analyze monthly data (yield, production volumes, solvent recovery and inventories trend) provided by Finance and ensure corrective measures for future (wherever required) To ensure completion of validation activities and including new molecules Capacity de bottlenecking, capacity creation and facility creation. About The Role : The candidate will be expected to perform Development and support for DRC/LVS/PEX/PERC runset(ruledeck) generation on Intel's process. Development/support of ICV/Calibre/Pegasus/PVS runset (rule deck) for DRC/LVS/PEX/PERCConduct the L0QA of the codes. Bring in run time efficiency, automation and solve customer issues on rusets. Develop and maintain DRC/LVS/extraction flow, working closely with various design/development groups. Perform in a dynamic and challenging environment with drive and creativity.
