Job Description

Check technical requirements with vendor specifications and perform the first round of negotiations for various categories of items.
Float enquiries for assigned items based on user requirements and match the correctness of technical requirements provided by users and those given by vendors.
Raise any shortcomings to Sr. Buyer/Buying Manager and provide details to buying managers for finalizing deals with vendors.
Order finalized items and make appropriate entries in the SAP system.
Respond timely to and resolve internal and external audit issues related to procurement, escalating them to Sr. Buyer/Buying Manager when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Tech / B.E. degree.
2-6 years of experience in procurement, category sourcing, and manufacturing.
Possess an analytical mindset and good written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of equipment and process/maintenance activities is required.
Demonstrate commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
