Role & responsibilities

Purchase & Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end sourcing of electronic & electrical components for new product development.
Vendor development, costing, price negotiation & cost reduction through VA/VE.
Procurement for trials, pilot production & initial mass production.
Supply de-risking & alternate vendor sourcing.
Monitoring development timelines & supporting production quality issues.
MIS reporting, budgeting & vendor capacity evaluation.
Tracking semiconductor demand vs supply; taking preventive measures.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic components and semiconductor usage in IT, ITES, security, and telecom products.
Experience in sourcing, supplier coordination, and cost evaluation.
Good understanding of consumer durables, ITES processes, and logistics.
Data-driven with the ability to analyze markets and propose strategies.
Strong execution and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Good understanding of costing, balance sheets, and financial analysis
