Job Description:
Padhre Classes is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to oversee and manage all business growth activities, teacher onboarding, lecture recording processes, and platform management. The ideal candidate will take ownership of end-to-end operations and business development, ensuring a seamless experience for students and educators while driving revenue growth and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets.
  • Generate leads, approach educational institutes, corporate partners, and individual customers.
  • Present and promote Padhre Classes' services to prospects via meetings, calls, and presentations.
  • Manage and track the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure.
  • Plan and execute strategies for market penetration and brand growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

Teacher Management & Onboarding

  • Onboard new teachers on the platform, ensuring they meet Padhre Classes’ quality and process standards.
  • Verify teacher credentials and set up their profile on the platform.
  • Train new teachers on platform usage, course creation, and delivery best practices.
  • Monitor teacher performance and provide regular feedback.

Lecture Recording & Content Management

  • Plan and coordinate lecture recording schedules with teachers.
  • Manage recording sessions to ensure high-quality content production.
  • Ensure lectures are properly edited, formatted, and uploaded to the platform on time.
  • Work with the content team to regularly update the course library.

Platform Management & Operations

  • Ensure smooth operation of the Padhre Classes platform for teachers and students.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to report and resolve platform issues.
  • Monitor and analyze platform usage data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Handle queries or escalations related to platform usage.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare regular reports on sales, teacher performance, course content updates, and platform metrics.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market trends to inform business strategy.

Incentives Management

  • Design and implement incentive structures for teachers and sales team based on performance.
  • Manage commission payouts, bonus structures, and rewards for top performers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles (preferably in the education or EdTech sector).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple processes: sales, teacher onboarding, content management, and platform operations.
  • Basic knowledge of digital content creation and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
