The BI Developer will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and validating dashboards in Amazon QuickSight, ensuring seamless integration with Snowflake. The role focuses on repointing datasets, validating KPIs post-migration, and collaborating with business teams during UAT to maintain dashboard accuracy and performance.
• Extract and analyze SQL queries and dataset definitions from QuickSight.
• Repoint datasets from Redshift to Snowflake.
• Optimize and validate dashboards/KPIs post-migration.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with business teams to ensure accuracy.
• Deep knowledge of Amazon QuickSight (datasets, calculated fields, visualizations).
• Strong understanding of QuickSight query handling between Redshift and Snowflake.
• Experience in remapping data sources and post-migration dashboard testing.
• Expertise in dashboard optimization and validation techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL for extracting and validating data.
• Experience Level: ~5–7 years in BI/Data Visualization roles (QuickSight/Snowflake/Redshift preferred).
