Role Overview
Business Head
Key Responsibilities
Market Scouting & Targeting
- Map and prioritize schools in Gujarat for potential acquisition.
- Leverage industry networks to surface off-market opportunities.
Relationship Management
- Initiate and cultivate high-level meetings with school founders, trust members, and board directors.
- Present Honour International’s value proposition, addressing concerns and negotiating terms.
Deal Structuring & Execution
- Lead due diligence coordination (financial, legal, academic).
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to finalize takeover agreements.
Transition & Integration
- Oversee handover planning, ensuring smooth leadership and operational integration post-acquisition.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive quick wins from Day 1.
Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain a robust deal pipeline and CRM records.
- Provide weekly/monthly progress reports and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
Required Experience & Skills
Proven Track Record
: Minimum 5 years in school franchising, educational acquisitions, or related M&A in the K12 segment.Sector Knowledge
: Experience with franchise networks, book publishing houses, coaching institutes, or private school management.Strong Network
: Established relationships with school founders, educational trusts, and key influencers in Gujarat.Negotiation & Influence
: Exceptional deal-making skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.Analytical Acumen
: Comfortable reviewing financial statements, academic performance data, and legal documentation.Communication
: Fluent in English; knowledge of Gujarati is a strong plus.Self-Driven
: Highly organized, target-oriented, and capable of thriving in a remote setup.
