Business & Finance Analyst

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Financial & Business Analysis

• Prepare and analyze MIS reports across multiple plants and product categories (SKUs).
• Conduct profitability, cost, and margin analysis at SKU, plant, and customer level.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial KPIs.
• Support strategic decisions with data-driven insights and financial modeling.

• Manufacturing & Cost Control

• Work closely with plant teams to capture accurate cost data and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Track plant efficiency, utilization, and scrap, and highlight improvement areas.
• Provide detailed product-wise costing and profitability analysis for decision-making.

• Sales & Commercial Support

• Collaborate with the sales team to review pricing, margin targets, and customer profitability.
• Participate in negotiations with customers/vendors, providing financial insights.
• Follow up with sales and customers on business performance and collections.

• Cross-Functional Leadership

• Act as a link between Finance, Sales, and Manufacturing teams.
• Support business reviews with management, board reporting, and investor presentations.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives for cost reduction, working capital improvement, and revenue growth.

• Future Leadership Track

• Develop a holistic view of the plastics manufacturing business (sales, operations, finance, supply chain).
• Take ownership of projects with P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrate leadership potential to run the plastics manufacturing unit independently within 2–3 years.

Tools & Systems

• ERP systems (ERPNext, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Zoho Books / Zoho Analytics.
• Advanced Excel (financial modeling, dashboards, pivot analysis).
• Business Intelligence (Power BI / Tableau).

Requirements

• MBA (Finance/Operations) / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA with

  4–6 years ofexperience

  in manufacturing, preferably in plastics or multi-SKU industries.
• Strong background in

  finance + operations

  with exposure to both costing and MIS.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working across

  multiple plants and product lines

• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and deliver insights for high-impact decisions.
