Production Supervisor & Electrical Engineer at Rakamcharla

Role & responsibilities

Production Supervisor:

1. Production Execution:

• Ensure daily production plan is executed as per schedule on High-Tensile (HT) Line & Slitting Line.
• Achieve targeted shift-wise production with zero delays.
• Ensure the line runs in full auto-mode with minimal manual intervention.

Quality Control:

• Perform in-process and final quality checks, test samples batch-wise.
• Ensure correct stickers, labels, and traceability on each coil.
• Maintain all Process Capability Parameters (like width, thickness, tensile strength, elongation) within limits.

Packaging & Dispatch Readiness:

• Ensure 100% of produced material is packed online with proper wrapping and labeling.
• Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure timely readiness of finished goods.

Checklist & Documentation:

• Maintain all production checklists, process logs, and quality check records.
• Update shift-wise production and quality reports and handover to next shift.

Line & Team Management:

• Plan, deploy, and guide shift manpower.
• Attend to minor on-line maintenance issues and coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns.
• Ensure 5S, safety, and housekeeping compliance during the shift.

Reporting & Communication:

• Report line abnormalities, deviations, and shift performance to Plant Head.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Dispatch & HR teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain team discipline, integrity, and foster a culture of ownership.

Electrical Engineer:

• Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for signs of damage or wear
• Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical problems
• Repairing or replacing faulty electrical components
• Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Collaborating with other maintenance team members to address cross-functional issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
• Knowledge and experience on servo drives
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a focus on safety
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
