This includes planning, coordinating and controlling the production schedule, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, managing a team of workers, and ensuring quality standards are met. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to work under pressure to meet production goals while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Role & responsibilities: Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines. Coordinate with sales, inventory, and procurement teams to ensure sufficient materials are available for production. Adjust schedules and resources as needed to accommodate production changes or unforeseen delays Supervising Production Teams: Lead and manage production teams, ensuring they work efficiently and safely. Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance performance and skill development. Monitor employee performance and conduct regular performance evaluations. Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure the production process adheres to quality standards and specifications. Equipment and Machinery Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and production equipment. Ensure that all machines are properly maintained to minimize downtime and improve productivity. Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all production activities are in compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and provide training on workplace safety to all employees. Promote a safe and productive working environment, addressing any potential hazards or concerns promptly. Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor production costs, ensuring efficiency and cost-effective use of resources. Work with the finance department to manage the production budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to minimize waste. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production schedules, work orders, and inventory levels. Generate production reports and present performance data to senior management. Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for process improvements. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the production process and implement solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and other continuous improvement projects. Preferred candidate profile: 12+ years in Production or manufacturing preferably in Paper / Packaging industry or similar manufacturing environment In-depth knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and equipment. Proven experience in managing production teams and working with cross-functional teams (e.g., maintenance, quality control). Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field (preferred) Certifications in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other production optimization methodologies are a plus.

The ideal candidate need to have a strong grasp of accounting principles along with practical exposure to audit procedures, including on-site factory audits. This role requires travelling (whenever required) to manufacturing units/factories for audits, and compliance checks. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Responsibilities (50%) Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally Process vendor invoices. Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closings. Support in preparation of financial statements and MIS reports. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Assist in budgeting and cost control activities. Audit Responsibilities (50%) Conduct audits at factory sites and head office. (Includes visiting factories at Pune , Goa and Chennai as and when required) Review and evaluate internal controls, operating procedures, and compliance. Documentation & Compliance Prepare and verify dispatch documents such as invoices, delivery challans, E-way bills, packing lists, and transport permits. Ensure documentation accuracy and timely updates in ERP/FINSYS or related dispatch systems. Maintain records of dispatches and returned goods. Vehicle & Transport Coordination Coordinate with transporters and internal vehicle teams to ensure timely vehicle availability Ensure proper vehicle loading as per weight, size, and material sensitivity. Monitor transit time and follow up on delivery status. Customer Communication & Delivery Tracking Share dispatch details with customers including vehicle info and estimated delivery time. Address and resolve delivery-related issues, delays, or complaints promptly. Maintain a delivery performance tracker and work on reducing delivery delays. Finished Goods Inventory Coordinate with the store and production team for finished goods availability Ensure proper stacking and identification of ready-for-dispatch material. Manage space in dispatch area for efficient material flow and safety. Cost & Efficiency Monitoring Optimiz vehicle routes and loading for cost-effective dispatch. Monitor and reduce demurrage charges and waiting time. Analyze dispatch performance and suggest process improvements. Audit & Compliance: Prepare for customer, system, and internal audits related to dispatch. Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the dispatch area. Ensure adherence to statutory and GST compliance in logistics documentation.
