Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic BD/Technical Sales with a background in chemical engineering or industrial sales to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting our products and services. This role involves significant client interaction, field marketing, and participation in exhibitions and industry events, with a strong emphasis on technical understanding, market research, and business development strategy.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, industry networking, and digital outreach
  • Conduct on-site client meetings and technical presentations to understand requirements and propose tailored solutions
  • Promote company products and services to potential clients across industrial and chemical sectors
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and proposals

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and procurement teams
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (technical, production, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution
  • Maintain a customer database and track the sales pipeline through CRM tools

3. Field Marketing & Outreach

  • Conduct on-field marketing activities to increase brand visibility and reach in target markets
  • Represent the company in industry exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and connect with potential leads
  • Analyze competitor offerings and develop counter-strategies

4. Market Research & Reporting

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, and competitor products
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market demands
  • Assist in refining product offerings based on market feedback and customer needs

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in technical sales or business development, preferably in the chemical, process equipment, or industrial sector
  • Strong technical understanding of chemical processes, industrial equipment, or specialty chemicals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong market research and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM tools
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets
  • Willingness to travel extensively for meetings, events, and exhibitions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related technical discipline
  • MBA in Marketing/Sales (preferred but not mandatory)
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in technical sales or business development

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹950,000.00 per month
