Job Description

As a Business Development Senior Engineer at our company in Gujarat, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding our customer base in the region. Your responsibilities will include generating leads, identifying new business opportunities, and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate for this role possesses strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development within technical, manufacturing, or supply chain industries. You will be responsible for various key tasks: Lead Generation and Prospecting: - Proactively generate leads through networking, social media, internet, references, and other channels. - Research potential clients" business functions, buying capacities, and buying trends. Business Development & Market Expansion: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Gujarat & Rajasthan region. - Conduct market research to stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging market trends. Sales and Contract Negotiations: - Generate new Requests for Quotes (RFQs) for C-parts from new and existing customers. - Negotiate contract renewals and pricing agreements. - Address customer quality requirements in alignment with Bufab's standards. Sales Reporting & Forecasting: - Maintain records of customer interactions and progression stages. - Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Customer Relationship Management: - Track customer buying trends, product requirements, quality standards, and supplier preferences. Desired Skills and Qualifications: - Strong understanding of business development, client engagement, and contract negotiations in a B2B environment. - Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze market trends and identify new opportunities. - Familiarity with digital sales tools, logistics solutions, CRM software, and ERP systems. - Proven track record of building strong client relationships and managing customer accounts. - Experience in Fasteners, small components manufacturing, or C-parts industry. - Knowledge of sales techniques and best practices. - Strong negotiation and closing skills. - Commitment to ethical business practices and professionalism.
