Role: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Role Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage MQLs via phone, email, and social channels to uncover pain points and qualify interest.
• Apply Sandler questioning techniques (focus on asking insightful, open-ended questions to uncover a prospect's real needs, pain points, and motivations, rather than just pitching) to identify needs and buying signals.
• Schedule first meetings or secure event attendance with decision-makers.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on conversion metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead handoff and feedback loops.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1 to 2 years in inside sales, lead generation, or BDR roles.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Familiarity with B2B sales cycles and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs for meetings booked and event attendance.

Performance Metrics:

• MQL-to-SQL conversion rate (2030%).
• Meetings booked per month (3-5).
• Event attendance confirmations (3-5 per event).
