Job Overview:


We are hiring a Business Development Manager with hands-on expertise in Upwork to help scale our digital marketing and PR services. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of generating high-quality leads, crafting winning proposals, and closing deals on Upwork.


This is an in-house position at our Mohali Sector 75 office, and the candidate will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to build and execute growth strategies using platforms like Upwork, Clutch, and LinkedIn.



Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow our agency’s presence on Upwork and other freelance platforms

• Write and submit tailored, high-converting proposals for digital marketing/PR services

• Optimize our Upwork profile to increase visibility and credibility

• Identify high-potential projects, communicate with clients, and close deals

• Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery

• Track Upwork analytics, win rates, and ROI of bidding efforts

• Stay updated on Upwork policies, client trends, and competitive strategies

• Support other lead generation channels (Clutch, LinkedIn, email outreach) when required


Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 1–2 years on Upwork

• Strong proposal writing and client communication skills

• Excellent understanding of digital marketing and PR services

• Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close deals independently

• Familiarity with platforms like Clutch, LinkedIn, Fiverr is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills

• CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)

• Google Workspace, MS Office, Notion/Trello
