Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Manager – Sales & Marketing (Agricultural Machinery) Location: Andhra Pradesh & Telangana
Department: Sales & Marketing
Experience: 5 – 8 Years
Languages Known: English, Telugu, Tamil
Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Drive sales initiatives, focusing on profitability and effective forecasting.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand presence in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
  • Identify, appoint, and develop new dealers and distributors.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing partners to achieve business goals.
  • Ensure product availability across the dealer network.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and institutional clients.
  • Engage with government agencies and large-scale farmers for business opportunities.
  • Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotional campaigns and field activities.
  • Offer market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and agricultural events to boost visibility.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, market trends, and dealer development.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Service) to meet customer needs efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of proven experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development, preferably in agricultural machinery, commercial vehicle, or related products.
  • Strong knowledge of the agricultural market, dealer/distributor channels, and farmer requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor the sales team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 50% of the time).
  • Must possess a valid driving license and ability to drive a car.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
