About the Role :

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities :

1. New Business Acquisition

  • Identify, research, and pursue potential clients across targeted industries.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline for digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Web Development, Branding, etc.).
  • Conduct discovery calls, pitch presentations, and product/service demos.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Understand client goals, challenges, and marketing needs to propose customized digital strategies.
  • Serve as the primary contact between clients and internal teams.

3. Revenue & Sales Growth

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Track and report key performance metrics, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts.

4. Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and campaign teams to create compelling proposals.
  • Develop strategies for lead generation, partnership development, and market expansion.
  • Provide insights and feedback to improve service offerings and competitive positioning.

5. Market Research

  • Stay updated with digital marketing trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Identify growth opportunities and suggest market-specific strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in business development or sales (preferably in digital marketing or advertising).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts (SEO, SEM, SMM, analytics, lead generation, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working with CRM tools (HubSpot, zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Existing network or portfolio of potential clients.
  • Experience selling marketing retainers, performance marketing packages, or enterprise digital solutions.
