Business Development Manager (BDM) Hotel PMS (Property Management Software) & ERP Sales

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of Hotel (PMS) and ERP solutions. The role involves identifying new business opportunities within the hospitality sector, managing the complete sales cycle, building strong relationships with hotel owners, operators, and hospitality groups, and achieving sales targets through consultative and solution-driven selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for Hotel PMS and ERP solutions across hospitality segments such as hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, PG's and hotel chains.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation, product demonstrations, and requirement analysis to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Conduct on-site and virtual product demos showcasing PMS, ERP, channel manager, and integrations.
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and commercial agreements aligned with client requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity reports using CRM tools.
  • Coordinate with implementation and support teams for smooth post-sale handover and successful go-live.
  • Monitor competitor offerings, market trends, and hospitality technology developments.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong B2B SaaS and enterprise software sales experience.
  • Solid understanding of Hotel Property Management Software (PMS) and ERP solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Consultative selling and solution-mapping capabilities.
  • Strong planning, follow-up, and closure skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Excel, and sales reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • 25 years of experience in hospitality software sales (Hotel PMS, ERP, Channel Manager, or related solutions.
  • Prior experience selling to hotels, resorts, PG's or hospitality groups is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to enterprise or multi-property sales environments is an advantage.
