Job Description

Role & responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UK market for our IT solutions and services. Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting, lead generation, and building relationships to closing deals. Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring strong partnerships. Understand clients' business challenges and position our IT services to meet their needs. Research and stay up to date on the UK IT landscape, market trends, and competitors. Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to acquire new customers and increase market share in the UK. Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively while maintaining profitability. Collaborate with the internal teams, including marketing, product development, and technical teams, to ensure smooth project execution and alignment of client expectations. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for senior management. Participate in conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company and develop client relationships. Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM and follow-up with leads efficiently. Preferred candidate profile Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in business development, with a focus on IT services, preferably with a proven track record of generating sales from the UK market. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IT services sector, including software development, cloud solutions, AI/ML, and staff augmentation. Sales Expertise: Expertise in international sales, particularly in the UK market. Proficient in lead generation, sales funnel management, and closing deals. Demonstrated success in driving sales and meeting revenue targets. Strong ability to identify client needs and offer tailored solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers in the UK. Ability to build relationships and establish rapport with clients in the UK market. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Soft Skills: Self-motivated and target-driven. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic sales environment. Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.). Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and how they relate to B2B sales. Experience working with offshore IT teams.
