About the Role

Business Development Manager Internships & Final Placements

You will act as the key bridge between EduBridge, corporate CSR sponsors, and academic institutionsensuring successful program implementation and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Acquire and onboard large engineering colleges/universities for CSR-driven skilling and faculty development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with college leadership including Directors, HODs, and Placement Officers.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between EduBridge, CSR partners, and academic leaders.

Program Implementation & Coordination

  • Drive complete program execution post-onboarding, coordinating with EduBridge’s internal teams and college departments.
  • Deliver customized upskilling, certification, and employability programs for students and faculty.
  • Enhance industry engagement via guest lectures, mentorship sessions, and corporate-sponsored projects.

Internships & Final Placements

  • Build partnerships with startups, MSMEs, and corporates to generate internship and placement opportunities.
  • Ensure alignment of roles with academic streams and project-based learning requirements.
  • Manage the campus recruitment process: JD sharing, assessments, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
  • Mentor student placement committees on recruiter management and professional communication.
  • Track internships, placements, PPO conversions, and address performance or compliance issues.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track program performance through daily reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Present periodic reviews covering progress, challenges, and impact outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to commitments made to CSR partners and academic institutions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:

    8–10 years in B2B sales, business development, or key account management. Experience in education, skilling, or CSR projects is an advantage.
  • Institutional Network:

    Strong connections with engineering colleges/universities; proven experience in managing academic partnerships.
  • Recruiter Network:

    Ability to build and maintain relationships with recruiters for internships and placements.
  • Business Acumen:

    Effective stakeholder management, client acquisition, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Mobility:

    Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
