Business Development Manager

As the Sales & Distribution Manager for the Consumer Business at our company, your role involves devising and implementing the Sales & Distribution strategy for defined channels and markets. You will be responsible for appointing and managing distributors and field force teams, ensuring effective market penetration through Go-To-Market initiatives, and driving business growth. Your critical tasks will include enrolling and managing large outlets, maintaining category-level visibility, and implementing merchandising practices to enhance brand presence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Appoint Distributors and Field force for Consumer Business. - Manage complete Sales & Distribution responsibilities as per the Go-To-Market strategy in defined channels and markets. - Drive business growth with the support of distributors, SSM, merchandisers, and promoters. - Enroll large outlets for business and conduct regular visits to drive sales. - Maintain share of shelf at the category level. - Implement appropriate merchandising tools. - Provide monthly market intelligence reports on the category landscape. **Financial Responsibilities:** - Ensure billing to Key accounts as per agreed margins. - Supervise scheme delivery to GT customers. - Close monthly remittance plan with DB for business. - Submit monthly claims on time. - Collect Quarterly NDC submission from Distributors. - Manage market expiry and Damage control with the help of NOPM. **Qualifications Required:** - Prior experience working for an FMCG brand. - Strong analytical skills to interpret and act upon data for decision-making. - Proficient in people management, negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. - Goal-oriented with the ability to set clear priorities and meet deadlines.
