Job Description

Job Summary:


We are seeking dynamic, high-energy Business Development professionals to help scale our GIS & Esri practice. The ideal candidate understands the business value of location intelligence, has hands-on experience selling GIS/Location/Spatial technologies, and can collaborate effectively with technical teams to shape impactful geospatial solutions. This role will be responsible for driving pipeline creation, enterprise account penetration, partnership expansion, and revenue growth across regions such as India, APAC, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities in enterprise GIS, location intelligence, and geospatial modernization.
  • Work closely with Esri ecosystem teams including Esri India, global distributors, and partner networks.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation and solution positioning to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Engage with CXOs, business leaders, product teams, and innovation heads to shape strategic GIS transformation journeys.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to deliver demos, PoCs, RFP responses, and solution proposals.
  • Build and nurture relationships across industries such as utilities, telecom, logistics, retail, energy, agriculture, environment, real estate, and transportation.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop case studies, capability decks, webinars, and thought leadership materials.
  • Represent Successive at Esri conferences, GeoSmart events, industry expos, webinars, and partner forums.


Senior-Level Additional Responsibilities

  • Own the regional GTM strategy for private-sector markets.
  • Build a strong network of enterprise decision-makers across industries and geographies.
  • Drive partner-led sales motions with Esri and other geospatial technology vendors.
  • Mentor and guide junior BD, presales, and SDR team members.
  • Contribute to shaping repeatable accelerators, frameworks, and solution offerings.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record of selling GIS/location intelligence solutions to private-sector enterprises.
  • Experience with platforms such as Esri, Mapbox, HERE, TomTom, CARTO, Precisely, Hexagon, Autodesk, Trimble, etc.
  • Strong industry network in logistics, retail, utilities, telecom, energy, real estate, or AEC.
  • Experience managing multi-region sales (India + global markets).
  • Ability to articulate the value of geospatial data, mapping, analytics, and GeoAI.
  • Expertise in consultative and high-value solution selling.


Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience working within the Esri Partner Network.
  • Exposure to GeoAI, drone imagery workflows, remote sensing analytics, or cloud-native GIS.
  • Experience selling SaaS, multi-tenant platforms, or cloud-based geospatial solutions.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills to simplify technical concepts for decision-makers.
