Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive government sector sales with a strong focus on

    margin-based targets

    .
  • Identify and acquire

    new government business accounts

    , including ministries, PSUs, defense, and central/state bodies.
  • Establish and nurture

    long-term relationships

    with key decision-makers in government organizations.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and tender submissions.

2. Strategic Planning

  • Design and execute market-entry strategies for untapped segments in the government domain.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align government business plans with organizational goals.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and pipeline progress in the CRM/cloud system.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on opportunity status, risks, and strategic recommendations.
  • Set and monitor KPIs such as win rate, pipeline value, and client retention.

Government Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and procurement officers in government entities.
  • Represent the organization at public sector forums, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to government clients, understanding their needs and aligning company offerings accordingly
