Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

Drive government sector sales with a strong focus on
margin-based targets
.
Identify and acquire
new government business accounts
, including ministries, PSUs, defense, and central/state bodies.
Establish and nurture
long-term relationships
with key decision-makers in government organizations.
Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and tender submissions.

2. Strategic Planning

Design and execute market-entry strategies for untapped segments in the government domain.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to align government business plans with organizational goals.

overnment Account Mapping:

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and pipeline progress in the CRM/cloud system.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on opportunity status, risks, and strategic recommendations.
Set and monitor KPIs such as win rate, pipeline value, and client retention.

Government Engagement & Relationship Management

Build and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and procurement officers in government entities.
Represent the organization at public sector forums, conferences, and trade shows.
Serve as a trusted advisor to government clients, understanding their needs and aligning company offerings accordingly
