About the Role:

Sales and Business Development Manager


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities in the education sector (K-12 and Higher Ed).

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for EdTech products including IFPDs, digital content, and smart class solutions.
  • Generate leads and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers such as school principals, management committees, deans, and procurement heads.

  • Conduct presentations, product demos, and training sessions to showcase product value.

Product & Market Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on EdTech trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements.

  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on market needs and customer interactions.

Business Development:

  • Explore partnerships with educational institutions, government bodies, and NGOs to expand market reach.

  • Participate in educational fairs, expos, and conferences to promote offerings.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Maintain CRM tools and provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.


Required Qualifications:


Experience:

  • Minimum 5-8 years

    of experience in sales/business development within the

    EdTech industry

    .
  • Proven track record in selling

    smart class solutions, digital content, IFPDs, or innovation/STEM labs

    .

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the education ecosystem.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.


Preferred:

  • Existing network in the

    K-12 or Higher Education

    segment.
  • Familiarity with

    government tendering

    or institutional procurement processes.
  • Experience working with

    hardware and software integration

    for classrooms.
