Job Overview:

proactive and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM)


Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Identify and explore new business opportunities in the commercial interior and workplace design sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, real estate consultants, and project managers.
  • Assist in executing sales strategies to meet revenue goals.

2. Lead Generation & Client Engagement

  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, email outreach, and industry events.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to showcase services.
  • Understand client requirements and coordinate with the design & project teams for customized solutions.

3. Proposal & Contract Management

  • Support in preparing business proposals, RFPs, and sales presentations.
  • Assist in contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and project timelines.
  • Work closely with finance and legal teams to finalize agreements.

4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities.
  • Identify gaps in the market and contribute ideas for business expansion.

5. Internal Collaboration & Project Handover

  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth project handovers.
  • Ensure seamless communication between clients and execution teams to align expectations and deliverables.

6. Branding & Networking

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
  • Work with marketing teams on brand-building activities, social media engagement, and content development.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Architecture, Hospitality or a related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or client engagement (Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to generate leads and manage the sales cycle.
  • Basic understanding of workplace design, interiors, or real estate is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and business communication.
