Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager for Western India at Conceptum Logistics Group, your primary focus will be on building and expanding customer relationships. You will be responsible for marketing the complex logistics services developed for international customers. Working in the Mumbai office, you will join an established team of project logistics professionals dedicated to developing and closing new business opportunities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify and develop new clients and partners - Achieve and exceed sales targets - Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives - Build and establish long-term relationships with customers - Manage an established customer base - Explore market trends and develop business strategies accordingly - Develop calculations and prices for new business opportunities - Set goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth - Research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives and prospective accounts - Develop innovative logistics solutions and cost reductions to attract customers **Qualifications Required:** - High integrity and proven credentials in the Freight market in Mumbai and Western India - Thorough understanding of the Forwarding business - 7 to 10 years of sales experience in international logistics - Excellent knowledge of shipping documentation, Bills of Lading, AirWay Bills, Invoices, survey processes, insurance processes, etc - Experience in working with CRM systems - Proven track record of over-achieving quota - Exceptional interpersonal skills - Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills - Ability to effectively plan and organize appointments and meet reporting deadlines - Excellent networking skills - Fluent in business English, further knowledge of local languages is an advantage The Conceptum Logistics Group specializes in project logistics, providing individual transport solutions for customers worldwide.
