Business Development Manager (BDM)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Manager to join our General Insurance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in the insurance industry, with a solid understanding of insurance products, sales processes, and customer service. This role requires a strong ability to manage a team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and drive growth and profitability for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily target of the general insurance department to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
• Manage a team of General insurance agents and provide leadership, coaching, and training to enhance their performance and productivity.
• Monitor and achieve departmental sales targets and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
• Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings to ensure the company remains competitive.
• Review and analyse insurance policies, ensuring they meet client needs and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to general insurance products and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Should have handled any of General Insurance non motor policies like EAR,CAR, GMC, GPA, Workmen compensation, Liabilities.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the General Insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and market trends.
• Proven experience in managing a team and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field.
