Business Development Manager

You will be responsible for researching and identifying new business opportunities, such as new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services, or new ways of reaching existing markets. You will seek out the appropriate contacts in organizations, generate leads, and cold call prospective customers. Meeting with customers/clients face to face or over the phone will be a crucial part of your role. You will foster and develop relationships with customers/clients, understand their needs, and respond effectively with a plan to meet these needs. In this position, you will need to think strategically, seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business. It is essential to gain a good understanding of the business's products or services and be able to advise others about them.
