About The Role – Business Development Lead – Healthcare Consulting
We are on the lookout for an astute Business Development Lead to escalate our B2B sales efforts with groundbreaking, insights-driven HCP engagement solutions within the pharmaceutical industry. Your role will bepivotal in promoting and elevating our comprehensive suite of offerings, which encapsulate KOL engagement,content marketing, digital marketing solutions, webinars, panel discussions, and advanced analytics servicestailored for high-impact results.The ideal candidate will come equipped with a robust sales background in agencies or companies dedicated tothe pharmaceutical industry, combined with a thorough grasp of the healthcare environment. Your role willinvolve utilizing your superior communication prowess and a strategic approach to lead generation thatincorporates both cold calling and effective networking practices. Your objective is to not only reach but surpassour sales targets by implementing a strategy that highlights your industry insights and our innovativeengagement solutions, driving growth and forging enduring client relationships.
Location - Pune, India
Roles & Responsibilities
- Craft and execute dynamic sales strategies, functioning as both 'hunter' and 'farmer' to not only achieve
but exceed sales targets for our medico-marketing solutions within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proactively identify and foster new relationships with prospective clients in the pharmaceutical sector,
acting as a consultative partner to understand their unique needs and crafting bespoke solutions.
- Initiate cold calls and spearhead outreach efforts with the tenacity of a hunter, generating fresh leads
while nurturing a strong pipeline of business prospects.
- Skillfully lead negotiations and clinch deals with a farmer's focus on long-term account growth, ensuring
profitability and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Liaise closely with marketing and product teams to expand our suite of services, aligning with market
demands and integrating feedback from clients to shape our innovative offerings.
- Maintain compliance and ethical standards in all partnerships, ensuring that all engagements align with
industry regulations.
- Compile and present detailed reports on sales results, market conditions, and ongoing pipeline activities,
providing actionable insights for strategic direction.
- Engage actively in industry conferences and networking events as a representative of our brand,
establishing connections and staying ahead of market trends to inform our strategic approach.
Qualifications
- Business management degree in Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or sales roles, specifically within agencies or
companies providing services to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and successfully selling to pharmaceutical companies.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry’s dynamics and environment, both in India and
internationally.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in managing complex sales cycles and stakeholder relationships.
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
