Business Development Intern

Location: On-site (Full-time Internship)

Duration: 3–6 months (with potential to convert to full-time)

Stipend: 10,000/-

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-energy, communication-savvy intern who is passionate about sales, client relations, and business growth. As a Business Development Intern, you’ll learn how to identify opportunities, connect with potential clients, and contribute to expanding our digital marketing agency’s client base. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain real-world exposure to B2B sales, lead generation, client pitching, and revenue growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the business development team in identifying, qualifying, and following up with potential leads.

Reach out to prospects via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to introduce our digital marketing services.

Support in preparing sales pitches, proposals, and client presentations.

Coordinate with internal departments (creative, SEO, performance marketing, etc.) to understand service offerings and build effective pitches.

Maintain CRM data, track leads, and support in managing the sales funnel.

Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify new business opportunities or partnership ideas.

Shadow senior team members during client calls and meetings to understand negotiation and closing processes.

Stay updated on digital marketing trends and competitive landscape.

What You’ll Learn

End-to-end B2B sales process for digital marketing services.

Lead generation strategies, sales funnel management, and client communication.

Proposal writing, pricing, and presentation techniques.

How to convert leads into clients through consultative selling.

Cross-department coordination and client relationship management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency required).

Confident, persuasive, and genuinely enjoys talking to people.

Highly energetic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

Strong interest in sales, business growth, and digital marketing.

Basic understanding of social media and digital advertising will be an added advantage.

Students pursuing or recently completed MBA / BBA / Marketing / Mass Communication are preferred (not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,500.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
